A NEW PR!!! I dropped 4 seconds off my 5K PR in the Athlete's Closet December 5K. It was a muggy, warmish morning in West Chester. I started off in the back of the pack and picked off people one by one in the race. That's my strategy: I don't look very threatening at the starting line, but I get you eventually. I was 4th out of 9 in the Females 20-29 age group, and 51st out of 99 overall. I felt pretty good during the race and was happy with my results. I like the t-shirt this year, too.
Today was supposed to be my long run of 5 miles, so I ran another 2 miles when I got home. So check the next post for the 1,000 Mile Challenge update!
