So I was kind of slacking off on the "Get Up Early Before Work to Run" front this week. I'm still on my antibiotic and it wasn't until Thursday night I could sleep without NyQuil. I wanted to get as much sleep as possible. So when Friday rolled around I decided I'd get my "mid-week" runs in on Friday and Saturday and my "long" run on Sunday.
I got home from work and headed out for a drizzly run around 6:30. I had my bright green rain coat and my reflective vest on, as well as my headlamp. Normally I don't wear a hat with the headlamp, but since it was raining I wanted to wear one to keep my face dry. Unfortunately it changed where my headlamp was shining and I had to run with my head at a funny angle.
I felt pretty good, but I was running very hesitantly due to the wet leaves all over the sidewalk. However, I saw THREE houses with Christmas lights on so it was totally worth it!
