Wednesday Week 7

My mid-week "long" run is up to 6 miles. Wednesday runs started at 3 miles and will work up to 10 miles before I taper for the marathon. To fit in my half marathon I had to switch next week and the one after, so I'll be running 7 next week, then 6, then 7 again, before continuing up towards 10. I try to run my Wednesday runs faster than 12 minute miles.

I felt pretty good tonight. I ran the Schuykill River Trail (from now on I'm calling it the SRT). It was pretty crowded. I ran out two miles in one direction and then back to the start and a mile in the other direction, just for something different. I kind of liked that, so I might do it from now on. It made it seem like I didn't run as far. My quads got tired towards the end, but that's because I haven't had a rest day since Sunday. 3 miles tomorrow and then a day off!
