10 Miles - Week 5 Long Run

Today I did something that I've never done before: I ran the whole 10 miles without walking AT ALL. Normally in races I walk through the water stations but I had my hydration belt with me today so I could just keep on going. I went out slightly slower than my (possible) goal pace of 12 minute miles. I've found that I go out too fast in the beginning of the long run and then I can't sustain my pace the whole time. But today I was good to go and probably could have kept going...maybe. The weather was perfect: cool, cloudy, and breezy. I was sweating but not hot, which is a nice change from what I've been running in all summer.
Next weekend is another step-back week - woohoo!
