Week 4 - Wednesday 5 Miles

On Wednesday of this week, I had my hard run. It was 5 miles this week. I ran the loop in Valley Forge, but I ran it the opposite way that I normally do. I had to work in Ambler at 3 on Wednesday, so I started my run around noon. It wasn't horribly hot...but I got pretty sweaty. There were a lot of people checking out the different encampment areas and having picnic lunches. I felt pretty good so I was able to push my pace a little. It felt great to finish with sub-11 minute miles. :-) I still have a lot of training to do before I settle on a goal pace for the marathon, but I doubt it will be that fast! We'll see if I can improve my pace as my mileage increases...as an extremely novice runner, my guess is no.
