7 Mile Long Run

Today was my second long run of my training plan. I had to do one more mile than last week. Unfortunately I ran the opposite direction from last week only to find out the mile markers did not continue as far as I needed them to! I had to estimate the middle 3 miles based on my pace. I ran an extra minute in each direction to try to "ensure" I ran all 7 miles, but I really have no way of knowing.

Either way, I felt GREAT! I maintained a slightly faster pace than last week. It seems like my hard work so far is paying off. Next week is a step-back week so it will be a little easier.

An hour of cross training tomorrow to finish off Week 2. Only 16 to go!
