Road Eating Trucks

This morning I headed out for an easy 3.1 mile run. I tried to get out a bit earlier than yesterday, but I really only made it out half an hour earlier than yesterday. Luckily, it was less humid than yesterday. There was a nice breeze for most of the run - just not on the way back home when I was super hot! I was happy to come home to my air conditioning!
I felt pretty good throughout the run until the last mile or so. That's when I started getting hot.
They're doing some paving on our road and a road nearby, so they've been chipping up the old asphalt with a "road eating truck". It goes along very slowly and peels up the asphalt and grinds it up and shoots it into a dumptruck that drives slowly in front of it. It was very interesting to watch. My favorite guy is the one that walks alongside the road eating truck and signals to the dump truck driver how fast to drive so the grindings go into the truck and not all over the road. I could be that guy.
No strength workout today but I did a 13 minute stretching video I found OnDemand. It wasn't as good as the one I did earlier in the week, but it was ok. I'm planning on getting a strength workout in tomorrow.
