After walking over to vote this morning, I headed out for a mid-week run. I THOUGHT I was beating the heat. Boy, was I wrong. Immediately I was sweating like crazy. It felt gross and hot and humid and muggy - like 2pm on a July afternoon. I felt as if I was shuffling through my run. Lo and behold, I ran a bit faster than normal, but it certainly didn't feel that way. I was literally drenched when I go back. Luckily there was a small breeze that seemed to be blowing in my face no matter what direction I was running. Thank goodness!
