The weather this weekend has been beautiful. Last evening Chris and I went on a walk for about an hour around our neighborhood. We were checking out other people's plants and landscaping and whatnot. It was the perfect temperature and everything.

Like wise, the weather today was PERFECT for a long run. It wasn't too hot or too cold and there was a nice, steady breeze. The sun was shining and all the trees and flowers are blooming so there's a lot of things to look at. I felt really great in the beginning but probably went out a little fast. About 2.5 miles in, I started to feel it. (There's also a series of short but steep uphills that I run up at this point.) I took some Cliff Shot Blocks with me and ate one and then I felt a lot better. I was sure to drink lots of water, don't worry. It definitely gave me the energy boost I needed. (Since my run was only a little over an hour, I only had one block. The packaging says to consume 3-6 blocks for every hour of physical activity.) I finished my run strong, but I was pretty tired by the end. Once I finished, I took a short stroll around the block to cool off before stretching. I'm feeling pretty good now; my muscles are not as sore as usual!

Keep up the good work. Those block things are strange!
