Wednesday night I headed out for a run after my Weight Watchers meeting at work. I had run 5 miles on Saturday and walked 4 miles with Chris on Sunday and felt fine. But by the end of my Wednesday run, the outside of my left foot was killing me. I could barely walk after my run. My left leg felt weird in the beginning of my run, but there wasn't any pain. By about mile 2.5 though, it was a different story.
I've been staying off of it as much as possible since Wednesday night, and it's feeling better. I'll try running Wednesday night, and if I can't, I'm going to call the doctor. I'm really frustrated because it's the early stages of my spring race training, and I'm worried I'll be too behind to catch up once I can run again. Chris has been reminding me to think positively and keep my chin up.
I'm doing Weight Watchers with some other staff at work since I've gained almost 15 pounds in the last year. We have meetings on Wednesdays after school. I've been really good about tracking my food since Thursday, so hopefully not being able to run doesn't make much of a difference.

How is your foot? Didn't know you were doing WW. Me too! But I am doing it online. Just getting back on track after gaining weight this winter. Have lost a couple lbs this week! |
