I am in love with this weather. It was absolutely gorgeous (again!) today. Luckily in science we had to go outside three different times to do experiments with the sun and shadows. So I spent more time than usual outside.

I've decided to try getting my runs in after school AT school. That way I don't have to rush home to beat the sunset. I mapped a run that was 2.5 nearby Chatham. I LOVE SIDEWALKS. There were sidewalks on 90% of my run which I'm not used to. It takes a lot of the stress off of running because I don't need to be so concerned about traffic. And it was perfect running weather - I got to wear shorts in January!! I've been doing a pretty good job of getting my workouts in and I've been feeling great. My hips get a little sore from my runs...I have to ask my dad or Cait what I could do to help with that. I worked out 75% of my workouts scheduled for January so as a reward I'm treating myself to a 30 minute massage on Friday evening. :)

Six and a half weeks until my 10K. My goal is to break an hour - which means I need to run sub-9:39 miles. If I keep my training up I think I'll be able to do it!

Mom, there's a place called the Cortiva Institute down Gulph Rd. towards the mall. It's part of a chain of massage schools. They have really good prices since it's considered hands-on training for the students. I went there after the marathon and it was fantastic!

Cool, where do you go for massages?
