10K Training - Week 3A Long Run

I did my long run in the gym this evening because I spent an AWESOME weekend with my family celebrating Jane's 50th birthday. As much as I normally hate doing my long weekend runs on the treadmill, it was actually pretty good. The gym was empty the whole time so it was kind of peaceful.

There were even two new treadmills (since 6:15 yesterday morning). I started out on one but I didn't like it as much so I switched to the old kind. I put my music on shuffle and I ran to one song at 5.5 mph and the next at 6.0 mph. I like that because it mixes up the time I spend at that speed.

In other news, Chris, Cara, and I did an adventure ropes course this morning. It was pretty much the coolest thing ever, I won't lie to you. And Jane's birthday celebration was definitely the best birthday party I ever went to!

Nice weather this week so I should be able to get some runs in outside!
