Another beautiful January day! I think it got up to about 54 degrees this afternoon. Since it was so nice I decided to get a REAL outdoor run in after school. I tried to get all my stuff together and left school around 4pm. I checked the sunset time before I left to make sure I would have enough time - 5:10 today - can't wait for turning the clocks ahead. Anyway, I got home around 4:30 and put my running stuff on right away so I wouldn't get distracted. I headed out the door for a delightful run around the Kingswood loop. Since it was only 2.5 miles I had to run only a half loop. I decided to walk uphill to the half-mile mark and then start from there. So because of that I got to run uphill twice but DOWNHILL three times. Win. :)
I felt pretty good and I ran pretty fast. About 45 seconds than on the treadmill last week. Pretty awesome with the killer hills outside.
Cross-training tomorrow if I can get it in between school and my evening doctor's appointment. Hope so!
